Fall of 2021 I contributed as part of the Gearbox subteam for CSU Chicos’ SAE Baja team. The goal was to use topology and FEA within solidworks to reiterate the current hardware in the gear box, with emphasis on reducing weight while maintaining the same amount of cycles and yield strength.
